Oct 13th, 2011 I joined here, and intro'd myself and my little Beardie, Cooper. Being as she is so small (years and a half old and still only about 7.5" long), I always wondered if something was wrong with her. Those that read and replied will remember me saying she was attacked and severely injured by a tankmate when she was just over two months old. Because of that, I have had to syringe-feed her since (fear of live food due to trauma suffered from the bite). Well, I am happy to report, that while I still do have to syringe-feed her regularly, she has started to hunt and now eat mealworms! I have to be out of the room (or at least hidden from her view) when she eats them (one at a time, hand-dropped into the terrarium), but she eats them. One step forward.
I will share more pics as I upload them from my phone to computer to photobucket. Here is one of her just about a month ago:
She is a great little Lizard, and I love her. I will try to get some of her out sunning herself (under natural sunlight) so that you all can see her colors..........she really has a great contrast when she is all-naturally lit!
