Picky about greens

Shenron is very picky about eating salad or anything other than his Phoenix worms. Any ideas as to get him to at least pick at some greenery? The most attention he seems to pay to it is running through the dish and making a huge mess.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Just keep offering them. Try new things and new forms of the same food. Do it in the morning and leave them there 1/2 day or more before offering the normal food that he likes...

How old is Shenron? It's common for young dragons to ignore veggies.
I started putting the phoenix worms on top of a bed of chopped collard greens. She is smart enough to pick out the worms, but she still gets a few pieces of greens out of it. After doing this for a while, I have notice that she is eating them on her own. I think she seems to like them as a bit of a snack. She picks at them throughout the day.

If that doesn't help to at least get her to taste them, try different things. After putting mustard greens every day for a week, and changing back to collards, it dawned on me that Blazey didn't like mustard greens. She wouldn't touch them. So, try out different stuff from the good list; maybe she will find something she likes :)

Good luck!

What everyone else said... But are you sure he's not eating them while he makes a mess? Miss Priss has this weird thing where she just can't seem to stand me realizing that she does in fact eat her veggies, so she knocks them EVERYWHERE... But in the process snacks on some of it (usually pieces that have calicium sprinkled on them) but I'd never know she was doing anything besides making a mess if I didn't occasionally catch her nibbling.

He's about 3-4 months old. I haven't tried putting his worms ontop of the greens, or the sticking it in there before feeding him. As for knowing weather he ate any or not, I can't really tell. I've never seen him picking at them, just running back and forth through it. Only time I saw him eat it was when a cricket was making its way into the dish, and he snagged some by accident lol.

Thanks for all the ideas.

for his age, that's normal. I wouldn't worry about him not eating greens. Just keep offering them and he will eat them if he's hungry and you can't give him live feeders at that time. My Zoom Zoom is not a big green eater, she eats a few greens every other day. She's still a baby. She eats the greens if she's hungry and we aren't able to give her the feeders for that day.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
