Picking the squash out of the salad...

So I've been giving Rey a mix of endive/butternut squash (raw, diced).

I've noticed that she just picks out the little cubes of squash out of the salad. Is this okay for her to do? Or should I give her just greens for the moment so she eats that some more.

Squash is a great staple, so it's fine if sh eats mostly squash. You can always try feeding squash every other day to try and encourage her to eat more greens or feed it every 2 days until she ventures out of her comfort zone of squash. But in the end, it's great that she eats it! My guy won't touch any salad, really .

They have their favourite foods just like we do. Mine loves raspberries but won't eat blueberries or strawberries (which are better for her).

Just try to offer a variety to ensure she gets choice and you can dust with minerals 2x a week or so to supplement anything she's/he's missing.
