Hi all,

I was just curious to know if anyone has ordered from them? I'm gonna give them a try. I just ordered 400+ large phoenix worms for $26.00 and the shipping is free. They say that the large phoenix worms are 3/4 of an inch in length so I figured that should be ok for a dragon that is 14" long right?

Brock is so spoiled to any worm now....all he wants is worms  ....he will not eat the crix any more at all....spoiled little brat

I have ordered from them and been very pleased. My BD's love them! My juvie BD (Meep) will dive into the worm bowl and have two or three hanging out of his mouth as he chews. He will even head bang when he sees the tub of worms because he wants them NOW!

Sooo how many worms do they eat at one time? I've only been giving mine (3 months) about 7 at a time because I'm trying to slowly introduce them to his system.

I've oredered from them twice and ships fast. Once I placed an oreder for extra small worms and they contacted me asking where I am going to use the extra small worms, when they found out that it will be for me 6 week old beardie they advice me to get the small rather than getting the extra small. If i have to order phoenix again definitely I'll plca my order from them.

I really don't know for sure. I usually put 20-30 in his bowl and when he was younger I would do that twice a day. I never really get and exact count because he eats them so fast I loose count. When he is full he will move away and go bask. What ever is left I save for next time. I love them because I can put a bowl in his viv in the morning and he can work on them all day with out them escaping! MUCH better than crickets.

I order my Phoenix worms from there too. Never had a problem. :D
As far as how many to feed it depends on what other feeders you use and how often you dust. My two would each eat 100+ a day if I let them, but they have a lot of calcium in them (I'm sure you know  ) and you could end up over-dosing them if you're not careful.
Oh, Kaira's is just over 5 months old and about 15" long, Taz is closer to 4 months and close to 14" long...I usually get the 400+ large for Kaira and 400+ mediums for Taz (he could easily eat the larges ones though...they turn black too fast though)...thanks for reminding to order more today lol. :D

I ordered the small ones for my beardie that's 8'' long and they are too small for him and because of them being so small he was'nt interested ,and It was a hustle just to separate them from the packaging substrate. Next time I will order the large ones. Phoenix worms. com is great, I received my worms on time with no problem.

I am expecting mine any day as well. When they arrive how many should I give him. Also how should I give them to him. In a bowl or just on the ground?

I mix Pudge's PWs in with her greens...that way she accidentally eats some good stuff:) I give her between 20 and 40 PWs at a time, in addition to many, many crickets.

I also use them. I first was looking for something different for the chameleon. Another place to get them is wormman.com The funny thing is they sell both "phoenix worms" and "soldier grubs". Read the description, same thing. The soldier grubs are sold as a mixed sizes kind of order, and for the same 9.95 you get 200+ rather than 100+ "phoenix worms". Not to take away from them, I still use phoenix worms.com because of the great service. I get the small and medium size for my new, guessing 2-3month old, beardie. He has turned up nose at crickets and will only eat small super worms, wax worms (VERY small numbers), and really anything that "wiggles" rather than hops.

Love phoenix worms. No smell, no extra dusting and they always eat them. The only problem is the cost.

This post reminded me that I wanted to order some myself.
I just processed the order, and I'm hoping they don't think that's strange, given the time.

But. I'm excited to get these things. :D
What to I have to do for them? It said I didn't have to feed them or anything, but I feel like I probably should anyway...?

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
