Hey I have my phoenix worms container In a cooler with 2 ziplock bags of ice and a cardboard piece on top of that to place the worm container on. It stays at 55 and I pull the worms put and they are very sluggish, is this normal do they have to warm up?

You're keeping them too cold, only a little bit colder than that and they'll actually start dieing.

I killed off a full 100 count container of them by leaving them in my garage area and they got
down to about 45-50 and all died.

You want to keep them at about 60-65 F for maximum time before they start pupating.

I ordered mine from the Phoenix worm store and the direction say that you can just leave them in the container at room temp. from 60-70 degrees and they will keep for weeks. If you want a longer shelf life you can keep them at 50-60 degrees but DO NOT refrigerate.

hope this helps!

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
