I think I'm going to order some phoenix worms for my bearded dragon. I do have questions, though.
1) Size: I'm not exactly sure how long my bearded dragon is - maybe 13 or 13 1/2 inches? Should I order mediums?
2) How many can they eat at once?

1) Definetly order the mediums. I've heard that the smalls are /verrrrrrryyyy/ small.

2) From what I collect, as many as they can eat in 10-15 mins. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

From what I gather the mediums will ensure a longer shelf life than the larges for obvious reasons. My dragon is 7 1/2" and he is eating mediums. Phoenix worms are not real big, but the mediums are just perfect for my beardie. He just got through eating about 15 of them. No clue where he puts all those worms, but he loves them. Your dragon at 13" will probably eat a lot of mediums, but there is no extra care involved in PWs and that's why I love them. No stink, no extra containers, no feeding, no nothing. I expect the 400 mediums I bought to last me around 3 to 4 weeks.

Buy a round of mediums and see what you think. Just let your dragon eat as many as he can in 15 min, like Ginaya said. If your dragon is eating a crazy amount each day then you may look at the larges. Here's a pic from http://www.phoenixworms.com showing the general size of a large phoenix worm http://www.phoenixworm.com/servlet/the-4/G.-Large-Phoenix-Worms™/Detail

Thanks for the information. I'm excited. I'm going to order some mediums and see how it goes. She likes crickets, but I think that worms would be easier.
So you don't dust them with the calcium powder, though? Does it matter if you go ahead and dust them?

I was feeding them to Blaze when she was still around 7-9". She eventually stopped eating them (and that's good, cuz she was eating a lot of them). I would feed about 30 or so a day, so I would go through 2 cups in a week. She would probably eat more of them, if I offered them to her. I fed them at lunch and crix at dinner.

You don't need to dust them with calcium powder if you feed them exclusively. They are packed with calcium. If you feed crix, continue to dust them 5x weekly. BUT! You do need to dust them with the vitamin powder 2x weekly.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
