Phoenix Worm Trouble

For the past 2 days my beardies have refused to eat any phoenix worms. One is a 9mo old boy, the other a 4mo old girl. They will eat dubias, supers, and hornworms with no issues but they refuse phoenix. I tried washing them because I read the ammonia smell they have can turn off beardies and that didn't work. I've also tried adding them to their salad but they won't eat their salads anyway so that doesn't help. Anyone have any advice?

It's not unusual for them to go through picky moods with different feeders. As long as they are eating their dubias and their appetite and energy levels overall are up, then I wouldn't worry too much about it and offer the Phoenix Worms again later on. Do be careful with the super worms with little guys like that though. Due to their size they can be difficult to digest and aren't recommended for young dragons under about 16'' in length.
