ha ha, Sandi -- he was trying to be sneaky & waiting until you were out of view!!! It's like our Psycho - there really is a sweet dragon in there ... somewhere ... he likes to be petted, he just doesn't want anyone to KNOW he likes it (I guess is the "real men don't eat quiche" syndrome?)
All three are eating pretty well now. Poor Phin has a lot of trouble catching worms - he gets them with his tongue but then they fall out of his mouth. He does OK if I put them in a bowl for him though, so that's what I've been doing. The little girl eats like a PIG, and even Bob's appetite is picking up.
I took this picture a few minutes ago. I know this is a dominance thing and they're not cuddling because they love each other, but it's still pretty darn cute. I'm not worried about them right now because I know they're both eating well. Still, the sooner I can separate them, the better! You can see that the little girl's eye is looking better too.
You're doing wonders for them already, they all look better than when you first got them. Have you heard back about Bob being adopted? That would probably be the best, 3 beardies at one time is alot to take on. The pic of Bob standing is so funny, reminds me of our Rubio, who stands alot, even though he 13 mo old now. Glad to hear they're all eating, they probably think they're in beardie heaven; food, cuddles, burritos, nice clean vivs, soaks in a tub; what more could a beardie ask for?
Keep us posted, sounds like Jasper & CJ knew what they were doing when they send those beardies to you! (((((HUGS))))) to all of you,
The girl at the clinic who might adopt Bob has been on days off so I haven't heard anything. I hope to hear in the next couple of days though. I just watched Bob grab the female by her beard and pull her down the stairs with him! She is OK, but this can't go on. I have to get them separated ASAP.

I thought about that, but there's only one basking spot. Someone will be too cold if I split the tank. It turns out that the receptionist at the clinic can't take Bob, but there might be someone else. If I don't find a permanent home for him soon, I'm going to have to come up with a few hundred dollars and get him his own tank.

If you have the the MVB then you can split it between the divider! I had to do this once but I had used the reptisun and a heat light on each side for a quick fix! I have pictures if you would like to see how I did it!!
The way the viv is constructed, it's not possible to add another heat lamp. He's been harassing me today instead of her so I guess that's OK. It really doesn't look like anyone is going to take any of them, so I'm going to pony up the dough and buy him his own viv. I can get a 48x18x24 front opening, mesh top viv for about $300 CAD so that's not too bad. I already have another Megaray on order, and the little girl can use the ReptiSun 10.0 for 6 months and then I'll get her a Megaray as well. Little girl will have to move into my bedroom and the boys will be side by side in the living room.
ETA: I just found an ad on Kijiji for a 36x36x24 terrarium for $150. Do you think that would be big enough? It would be 9 sq ft of floor space.
