Phillip, My new dragon!

After many, many years of wanting, and several months of preparing I finally got my dragon! I was going to wait and order one from a breeder online, but today, when I went to Petsmart I knew I just had to have him. He was the prettiest baby and was sold to me as a fancy dragon for an extra $20. It took me a long time to decide if I still wanted him, but how could I resist his little, cutie face? None of the other connected with me like he did.

Does he look like he's going to colorful? Maybe orange? In the store he was lighter with brighter orange on his back.

So far he's eaten 3 crickets, 1 small roach, and a piece of salad.

It looks like Phillip has pin worms again. So, he'll be getting treatment for that very soon. Poor little guy.

Phillip seems to be finally over his worms, at least for now.

I measured him and he's now 18.75 inches :shock: What a big boy! He's been very Picky lately when it comes to eating, and it's driving me crazy. He barely touches his salad anymore, even though I wait all day to feed him his roaches. On top of that, he'll only eat it if I hand feed it, and he'll only eat collard greens. I think I've created a spoiled monster.










Oh! and for my birthday my husband got me another reptile friend. Meet, Hermione, my leopard gecko. She's ADORABLE!

I'm so proud of my little guy. I hope he reaches 20 inches. That would be awesome.

Sometime in the next couple years he's going to get a 75 gallon tank upgrade, then Hermione will get his 40 gallon.
