I'm new to this whole BD thing, but did a lot of research on the web.
Seems almost all BD sites say to stroke their heads and backs gently, this calmes them down and they will most likely close their eyes.
However they also say not to approach from above as this will scre your BD
Digger likes his back stroked (especially when cuddling), the top of his head (he'll close his eyes). Sometimes when I pet the top of his head, he'll lift his head up as he like to have his chin stroked
Another thing, when Digger goes in his cat carrier to go to sleep, he'll turn and wait for you to cover him with his washcloth and pet his back..he'll then close his eyes, if you stop petting him and he wants more he'll open his eyes and look at you till you start again! With the cloth on his back I can stroke back and forth and he really likes this, it puts him to sleep
Steve likes for me to rub down his back and on his side spikes...its almost like you can see a smile on him...then he gives me a high-5! If anyone would like to see a pic of this I can post it
thank you! he was doing this thru the glass after I put him back in...I put my finger on the tank (which needs a cleaning btw--steve slings water and food everywhere) and he walks up and high fives me..makes me feel good inside..I know he loves me
Awwww Steve is adorable!!!! Reading all this makes me feel sane again... My baby Charlie loves to be put to sleep... if left alone in the tank he'll stay up and fall asleep on the tree branch or something! but if u put him on ur chest he'll get under your clothes and cuddle!!! then he'll go to sleep... hehe I love him so much and people think im crazy to think he actually likes it... but i knoe he does!!! hehehe

thank you! I am 100 percent positive that beardies love to have human interaction...cuz think about it..if they didnt like it they would bite . I once saw a beardie on tv before I had one or even knew of them and thought "if I saw that thing in the wild Id get away from it" Now I know better..they are some of the most docile exotic creatures..and I know they each have their own lil beardie personality
