Petco $1/per gallon tank sale

Just my luck that when I'm looking to buy a 40-55 gallon breeder tank for the new beardie I plan in buy at the MARS in September, I find out that Petco has a bi-annual $1/per gallon tank sale that ended TODAY! This would be great if I hadn't found out five minutes ago.....smh, I have the worst luck sometimes

Yeah apparently today was the last day for the sale, I'm so bummed. I have been checking craigslist for two weeks now trying to get a good deal. I got Elvis' tank brand new on there for $30..... no luck so far though

I was sooooo surprised when they had that sale because I bought a used 40gal breeder off of someone I found on craigslist for $40... I was so sad when that happened because I got a used tank for $40 and I could've bought it brand new for $40! but w/e things happen for a reason!

I called them several days during sale and all they had were 10 gal. I kept trying and kept getting the same answer at 4 different petcos. wonder did they ever have any bigger tanks. :?

I have 5 different petco location within a 20-50 mile radius of me and only one of them had anything bigger than a 20gallon and the one that had the 40gal breeder that I wanted was the one farthest away! but I went for it because I REALLY wanted Ace to have a new home! :mrgreen:

yeah they were doing this sale at the one by my house last week. it ended on friday the 16th out here in az :/ but i just bought a 55gal tank off craigslist for $20
