Petco $1 per gallon sale is on again tomorrow. If your people are cool like the people at my store, they may honor the sale one day early! Just got Iksar a 40 breeder. Such a stroke of luck that we even found out. Good luck out there!

Yeah, all Petcos nationwide. Keep in mind that its limited to specific tanks, unfortunately you can't do special orders or rain checks, so if you want one get it asap!

I'm glad some people were able to take advantage of the sale! I'm sure most places are out of 40s by now. I will keep my eye out for the next one!

our petco had 2 pallets of them. When we went they had not sold any of the 40's yet.

Yes! Finally I went to petco and got a 40 gallon breeder. My juvenile beardie will look so small in it. Haha. We should make a thread that's joined with this one to see what everyone has done with their tanks from this great sale.

Do I have to clean the brand new 40 gallon breeder I bought? Or is it ready to use? What type of solution would you use on a brand new tank if you were cleaning it?

I don't usually clean mine because nothing has been in it, but if you wanted to clean one, I would try a 10% bleach and 90% water solution or a water and vinegar solution.
