Pesticides?

So I recently read that bearded dragons can eat squash flowers ! Which is great because I would like to give Zeus something new to try. I was at an orchard today and bought one large squash flower to take home.
But after reading about pesticides, I'm wondering if it's safe. I've read you should always wash fruits and veggies to get rid of any possible pesticides, but can I trust in just WASHING the flower to know it's safe for him? Or should I actually call the orchard to see if they use pesticides. And if they do, not feed it to him?
Thanks for all the advice! Don't want to give my little guy anything that might be harmful ?

Hi there, you could call + ask, but most supermarket veggies that we feed our pets [ and ourselves ] have been sprayed. Just wash it off a bit + it'll be fine. :) Some things you might get from your own yard are hibiscus flowers, impatiens, clover [ leaves and flower but mine mostly like the leaves ] and dandelion .

Just make sure the neighbours aren't spraying their yards or gardens (the mist of pesticide can travel in a breeze) or they aren't an extreme garden / lawn fanatic who is obsessive about controlling weeds and bugs who is doing sneeky sprays over the boundary fence into your garden and yard - thinking your property is a source of pest insects and weeds (I had one doing that and I discovered the grass was dying out to 3m from our shared boundary fence , I confronted him and had some very loud and colourful words with him and warned him and told him never to spray poisons onto my property ever again else I would like become very nasty and violent in response).

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
