Pesticides outside and cancer?

I just got back from walking out to my yard and noticed that the folks who do the lawns around here sprayed pesticide and left a sign (we live in a townhouse so HOA does yardwork.)
I had taken my shoes off when I got in but I'm worried my pant legs brushed the grass, and then i was up in my beardie's room.

Could this lead to cancer for him? Or for my cats that live in the other part of the house?

Hi there, it's highly unlikely to cause any problem but if you're really worried you could change your pants once you get inside. That would be over-kill but if it put your mind at ease it might be worth it.
