People Are So Weird

I just had to share this little vignette. At work the other day, a coworker was asking me about Campbell Jane. She asked all the typical questions, and then started asking if she ever came out of the cage. I said of course! She gets lots of cuddle time and lots of free roam time. My coworker looked at me like I had said I had plague rats living under the kitchen sink, and said "But aren't you worried about swine flu?" I was honestly so shocked by the idiocy of the question that I couldn't even respond right away. She just kept looking at me, expecting an answer. So finally I had to say "Swine flu doesn't come from lizards." To which she replied "As far as YOU know."

Even funnier is if she does a google search for "bearded dragon swine flu" to get some info to support her point she will find this thread and find out how stupid the world thinks she is.

LOL, I don't think she'll be googling anything. I'm pretty sure our little discussion vanished from her head less than ten seconds after we had it. If the topic of conversation isn't directly related to her, then it might as well not exist.

I am one who has no patience for stupid people. If someone came up to me and said that I would look at them and reply "you're stupid" then walk away. I really have no use for people like that to be honest I think society as a whole has no use for them they are just simply there. I thought it was common knowledge that swine meant pig or animals of the pig family such as boars or warthogs.

Reminds me of this stupid person on you tube. They asked if you can get swine flue I told them no you have to be near a live pig that has it. Then he asks "what if it's not cooked properly" I mean :laughhard: If the meat was cooked improperly you would have a little thing called food poisoning. This person seemingly did not know that pork has to be cooked well.

I can understand her for putting up with this lady, after all they do have to work together on a daily basis. It's not like she can walk away and never see her again. You also don't want to be known as the rude jerk at work. Even though every bone in your body just wants to Zing them with a good one. There is a difference between ignorant people who just don't bother to learn something and someone who is truly stupid. I think you just have to feel sorry for those who are not blessed with a brain. After all, it is not their fault if they are truly stupid! I used to have no patience for stupid people until I got married. My mother in law, bless her heart, is as dumb as she is sweet. It takes some getting used to, and it really makes me wonder how she and his father who is and honest to god genius ever got together and reproduced. I guess you just have to have compassion for those who have less usable brain matter. It really does go in one ear and out the other with them because there isn't anything in there to hold onto it. LOL
The people who really irritate me are the ones who think it is cute to act stupid when they aren't. Not that they are supper smart, but they act like they are 13. This is usually done by bimbo women who think men find *****s attractive. The Jessica Simpsons of the world. Is this chicken or fish? WTF? And who knows, maybe they are right, but as a woman with a high IQ and an education, I just think it is TOTALLY IRRITATING. I just want to yell at them. "Grow up already, you are not doing the rest of us any favors!!"

I think that everyone can help being stupid unless you have mental retardation, dementia, or brain damage or a brain disorder of some sort. Other then that I think everyone else can help being dumb. But what I really can't stand is people sho are stupid who act like you are the stupid one when you don't agree with there stupidity. I have to deal with those especially with tech support. I have some say a computer works in a certain way when it's far from the truth then argue with me. That is untill I finnally get frustrated and begin yelling at them then they look it up and see I knew what I was talking about.

I had to deal with people like this from a credit card which can you believe that a credit card would be stupid? It was about identity theft someone made a purchase around a thousand bucks with my card. I told them I did not authorize the charge. The company that messed up al ready shipped the products and found out they were out of luck and then tried to fight the charge back. They put the money back on the card and show me the evidence of it being shipped. The evidence showed someone of an entirely different name in another country had it delivered to them and made me flip the bill.

This info proved my claim and there response was "opps we accepted the info without looking at it sorry about that" It may seem off topic but it's another example of people being stupid. Also should mention this UPS guy delivering a package who asked if the water dragon in the cage staring at him was real. I mean yeah I am going to keep a rubber lizard in a cage with a food dish which my water dragon was actually leaning on when the guy asked that.

So I think ll those people could be more intelligent if they simply worked on it. I mean some people I meet are so stupid I can't help but wonder how they got dressed in the morning.
