ok before you get off at me saying dont do it. i dont. but i was holding my caly tonight and it was right after her bath and her tail was just starting to shed i noticed. well im drying her off and then letting her run around my room. i picked her back up to put her back home and she tried to jump into her cage but i caught her and a lil bit ( 2.5" or so) of her shed peeled up. does peeling shed cause anything bad. i have never run into this before so i thought id ask.

It can cause damage to the scales underneath, and even infection depending on the state of the shed. Just keep an eye on it for any changes or discharge.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
