Parasites?

I keep reading about how often people's beardies get parasites. Does anyone preemptively "worm" their dragons? Why or why not would this be a good idea?

When I got Ridley he had a check up and a fecal float done and was clean, but is it just a matter of time before he gets worms? o.o

We do not advise pre-emptive medication, as the medicines are often quite harsh on their systems.
