Parasite treatment and parasites

My beardie is 4 months old she is 14.2 in long and weighs 137g is this ok for 4 months and 3 weeks old bearded dragon?1 week ago i got fecal tests and my beardie got isospora and pine worms this Tuesday i visit vet and she give me meds now my beardie taking meds for 3 day she need to get 2 more shots she will be done with meds on Sunday than i need to wait 14 days and take poop again on fecal teset.Befor i go to vet my beardie spent 2 weeks all day on a cool end of terrarum just lying in her hide out or in cave she didnt move much and bask alot she bask only at morning mybe for 2h than she spent all day in the cool end.Now she is on meds for 3 days she become really active she start to runing araund,climbing on her fake rocks,and she is alot more alert now she basking alot more as in previous 2 weeks but when i start to give her meds she start to refusing crcikets and insect food she only eat 5 crickets today and alot of greens it this normal is greens(vegetables) more easier to digest as crcikets mybe she refuse crcikets and insect food because she not feeling well and she eat more easily digestible food (vegetables) but her poop is alot less watery and smelly so i think meds work but im not sure whats going on with refusing crcikets can antibiotick make wierd feeling in her belly and she refuse insect food??

How old was your bearded dragon and what parasties he/she did you taek poop on fecal test have did you start treated her/him or she/he die without Medication?? She is doing alot better after taking meds so i think she dont eat crcikets only because of meds make her wierd feeling in her tummy and insect are more difficult to daigest i think.She start to bask,runing araund climbing and she is alert now her poop is alot less watery and smelly so i think she will recover.

My beardie is on medication for parasites too. From what I read the medication kills all of the good bacteria in their system along with the parasites. Thats why they stop eating. The best thing to do is give a probiotic to replace the good bacteria. I am giving my guy soy yogurt, it has no dairy, the bearded dragons can not digest any dairy products. They also sell a probiotic powder you can mix up. Bruno seems to like the Yogurt, he licks it off of a syringe. They say to give the probiotic for 2 weeks after medication. I hope this helps and I hope your Beardie feels better soon.

Tnx dude i feel alot better now i know im not alone in this mess she eat only greens but today she eat araund 5 crikets and forc feed her 10 more cant help my self :? now i know this is normal if they are on meds they lose apetite so i will give her time and wait for her to recover and shee poop only 1 in 2 days antibiotick can do this that she poop les becuse she eat less right?I cal a pet shop and they got powder i will go buy it on Monday or Tuesday tnx for advice dude.

Can you buy the soy yogurt in Slovenia? It seems to be working for my guy. I ordered the powder online but it hasn't come it. I'm sure your beardie will be fine though, I can tell you really care.

I wana help her to recovery as fste as she can i will cehck if they have soy jogurt Tthey have Komodo Revitalive powder Is this the product i need to buy i dont wana be scam in store they allway say this is the right product they dont care they only want to sell you.

Sorry, I don't know about that powder. Maybe someone who knows more can comment on this. I agree with your opinions on pet shops, they are not any better in the US. They are full of bad information and only worry about a sale, even if it's completely wrong.

I do not trust anything coming from most pet stores. I am unfamiliar with the product and Im to lazy to google it.
Antibiotics and reek havok on a dragons system, so follow the vets instructions carefully. A Probiotic will help restore good gut bacteria, and speed up recovery.

Now i need to wait 14 days and take poop on fecal test again she is done with meds but she didnt poop in 2 days is this normal for berdies on Antibiotic they poop les becuse they eat less and antibiotic kill good stuff in their gut?I hope she will poop when im back from work if she dont poop this will be 3 days without poop :? i will tray to give her warm bath and massaged her belly if she didnt poop when im back from work.
