Ozzy Ozzy Ozzy, Oi Oi Oi!!!!!

hello everyone!!! My name is John and i just brought home a little bearded dragon on Feb. 28th, 2010. For now im calling him/her Ozzy (not after ozzy osbourne, nothing against the king of darkness but that name as just stuck). I have him/her in a 10 gal. tank for the moment but will be upgrading by this summer. The guy i bought it from sold me everything that ppl on BD.org says not to get so i will be getting the right stuff asap. This is my second dragon ive owned. My first, Hatchett, is up at my little sisters daycare school (i think), i had to give him up cuz i was not able to properly take care of him at the time. But now its time of this little one. I'm sure this board will see/hear a lot from me. I want to make sure my dragon can have the best life possible.

Hello and welcome, what a cutie you have. In my opinion its next to impossible to have the appropriate temps when using a ten gal tank. I wouldnt suggest anything less than a 20 gal.

i kno. i got rid of the tanks i had before with my other one so next good deal i come across im getting. might go big and just block off half and let him/her grow with the tank. or bad idea??

No thats actually what alot of people do. If you were to go big i would suggest a 55 gal and block off half of it and open more space up as he grows. this way you only buy 1 tank and save money. You should check out craigslist. i got my 55 gal tanks on there for 35 bucks a piece.
