So, Ozma, my 10 month old female bearded dragon, has been acting a little strange this past week. For one, she's barely been moving. She just lays on one of her platforms all day. If I bring her out to play with her, she tries two things: 1. get back into her tank, and 2. find a place where she can hide in my apartment and lays down to sleep.
She also hasn't eaten much lately. I just filled her tank with crickets today - normally something that she gets very excited about. She just looks at them. Didn't even move. She seems fully capable of moving around, but she just seems uninterested.
The temps in her tank seem alright. Her basking rock is 110F, and other areas in her tank range between 80 and 110.
She does have a patch on her back about 2" in diameter that has gone grey and looks dry, so I assume she may be about to shed.
Does this seem like normal behavior? Should I be worried?
On that note, my snake is exhibiting weird behavior too. He's completely restless, but won't eat anything I give him. That's been costing a pretty penny, too. What the heck is wrong with my reptiles?
