Overfeeding?

I've had my beardie for about a month now and he just turned 2 months old. Supposedly. I really don't know his age but he's 10" long. Anyways, I feed him twice a day. He used to stop eating when he was full but now he just seems to keep going! How do I know if I'm over or under feeding him? The vet says he looks healthy and was a good weight when I took him a few weeks ago but, again, now he's turned into a little pig! I'm feeding him crickets that are about 3/8-1/2". Twice a day and he probably eats 20-30 each sitting. Would probably do more if I let him.

20-30 sounds reasonable but they grow so quickly when they're little they need lots of protein so he will naturally eat a ton of bugs. That being said, if he's still acting hungry it might be a good opportunity to introduce him to nice varied salads to try to get him into some veges.

He loves his kale! Gets pieces of it in between feedings then free access before his 'dinner.' He wasn't digesting the other veggies well, or fruits, so I'm sticking to just leafy greens until he's larger.

Other veges can have a high water content and cause upset stomach. Kale is OK in small amounts with rest of a salad. I'd focus especially on collard greens and turnip greens. Dandelion greens are good when you can get them too. I often mix in bok choy and mustard greens when they look nice at the store too. This is a good list to reference for salad ideas. I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
