outside safty??

i've got an approx 4yr old baby boy(not sure his excite age because got him from a rescue) He has been outside before He has his on blizzard leash but this year im worried about pesticides, we don't use any because of our animals but our neighbors think roundup is the worlds best thing. where they are spraying it and where i normally take him are a good deal apart but i was worried about wind transference on to my grass their for on to him, so any tips about safety when taking him out on his leash i'd much appreciate.

the roundup does get absorbed into the soil so if they haven't sprayed for a week I wouldn't worry about it.. if you can take him to the furthest corner of your yard/property away from this neighbor's yard then that would work out fine.. if you're still a bit on the fence about it maybe bring him out on your lap to bask for a bit or put out a beach blanket and let him stay on that.. you're very justified worrying about that, taking your beardie out in the natural light for 10 minutes is equivalent to 24 hrs. under their UVB in their viv.. my Crixus has been outside a handful of times as he's 8 months and this is his 1st hot summer and has yet to let me put him down on the ground.. he'll back up into me whenever I try, but he loves to just sit on my lap on the porch or in a shady spot and chill out.. if he could smile, I know he would.. have fun w/ your baby catching some rays.. 8)

thank you for your response and help i'd not thought about a blanket for him as He does like to get down and that would make me feel better. it will make me feel safer letting him enjoy the sun, and also keep me from having to worry about chiggers
