Outside branches in viv

Hey, my husband and I just went on a walk on got some decent sized branches and rocks for our beardie, Little Foot, viv! I'm wondering on how to make them safe for my little booger. What's a good way to make them safe? He doesn't really have anything to climb on right now, and kinda just lays under his one little fake log we have, but loves crawling/climbing on me, and don't feel like going and spending an arm and a leg on stuff at the pet store. Any suggestions?(Sorry if I rambled... Lol.) Thanks in advance!

I would wash the stones well with soap and hot water (bleach solution if you'd like). I'd rinse the wood well and bake it in the stove at about 250 or so for around 30-45 min.

Thank you! Could I bake the stones as well? and just let them cool? Or It'll be fine with hot water and soap? I'm thinking about just putting them all in my bathtub for about 30 minutes, let them soak, and putting them in the oven with your suggested time/degree.

I would avoid baking the stones because if they are holding moisture they could crack or explode if heated beyond boiling. The wood will release it's moisture easily but I'd just give the stones a good wash and they should be fine. They're not likely to carry bugs internally as wood may.
