Hello,

I'm in need of advice. :? I am out of feeders until my crickets come tomorrow. :| What can I do as far as stuffing the little dragons until then. As well, the couple I have in the same tank, i should separate them until I get them properly fed or the chance of nips is exponentially increased, right? Thanks for the help. Money is gone till Friday except for spare quarters, that's why I asked.

Hello,

Yes, I would separate them. And to keep your beardies from nipping each other too, provide lots of greens, and I also sometimes find a spider and give it to my beardie sometimes.

Actually, they should be seperated into their own vivs as soon as you can. The longer you keep them together though the riskier it may become for both of them. One may become dominant over the other which can cause injuries and stress on the submissive one. If they're still babies I think they should be ok for a short while until you can get a 2nd tank established, but eventually they should each have their own home.

As far as food goes, since you're getting more feeders tomorrow they should be ok for tonight. I'd just make sure that they have fresh salad available until then. Or, if you know of a local store that sells phoenix worms that could hold you over until then. My Dewey went nuts for PW's.

I personally wouldn't go this route. Not knowing where the spider came from or what it has eaten makes me nervous. I feel that this could case much more harm than good to your beardie. Just my opinion.

I have to agree and it's not a good idea to recommend it to someone else because depending on where you live, some spiders are poisonous.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
