Out Door Bearded Dragon Cage in BC Canada

I really want to build my beardie (Steven) a out door pen/cage. I was just wondering if it is too cold in BC Canada for him to be out their 3-4 days outta the week in summer time. I could hook up a heat lamp in their for him if it's to cold. Any tips will help thanks! -Jaiden$Steve

The weather fluctuates too much (in my opinion) for a semi permanent outdoor cage to work up there. While dragons may be able to handle those fluctuations it's not optimal and doesn't really reflect their natural habitat which stays pretty hot during the summer (70s at night 90s during the day). If you decide to build an outdoor enclosure, I'd only bring him out there on very nice days and supervise him. A wire dog crate with some hides and climbs in it would work for being outside for short periods. A children's playpen would also work if you aren't worried about birds/predators coming in from above.
