Oh she absolutely LOATHES bathtime! I put her in the tub with water depth half as deep as she is tall and she inflates herself and scrambles up my arm.

Poor balloon baby! Hopefully she'll get over that soon. Most do, though I still have one that freaks about baths too or should I say just doesn't care for them. :lol:

Other than baths is she all settled in? She looks like she can be a stinker....I love that little evil eye pic. :lol:

She absolutely loves her cage. She warmed up to us very fast and started eating from Aiure's hand within days, and she's very happy to cuddle.
She's super energetic and absolutely LOVES to climb.
If we take her out while we are watching tv she will run back and forth between the two of us.
Loves to explore, she will quite often leap off the end of the couch in the name of adventure!

The only problem I've been having is that she seems to have trouble with going to the bathroom. She doesn't go in the tub and will often hold it for 3-4 days until there is enough pressure for me to push on her abdomen and coax it out (It's like I'm juicing her and it's very disturbing)

But I'm wondering if it had something to do with the first bit that comes out. It's a big, very solid, what looks like a calcium deposit, and I'm wondering if it's binding her up

So the urate is hard? If so it's probably she's not absorbing enough moisture. I know bathing is suppose to help with this but with some beardies it's just not enough...especially if they don't wanna stay in the bath long. Try misting her salads so she gets more oral fluids...I like to use the curly leaves like mustard greens or kale for adding moisture as the water collects in the curly part well. :wink: Another thought... is the urate bright white or discolored? Sometimes to much calcium can cause the hardened urate, but it's usually discolored and not bright white in this case.

Sounds like she's a little character!
