After recommendations from others on this site, I took the drive you to Dachiu on Friday with my 7 year old to pick out a Baby BD. Let me start by saying, I was highly impressed with the habitat area that Dachiu maintains. Every cage was spotless. No odor of any kind in the area. And they clearly love what they do. I received more knowledge than I could retain. They had many different dragons to choose from, but my son fell in love with this little Hypo Trans red. He named him "Spike." Spike is very good. He loves to be held by my son, and is easy to get out of this cage. He is much more friendly than any other BD I have ever encountered. Yet another reason I highly recommend Dachiu.

I'm glad to hear Spike is settling in so well. I'm also glad to hear a firsthand report about their enclosures being well kept. I'm sure getting them off to a proper start makes a big difference in the long run.

Cool! Really cute little guy. Great to hear about Dachiu, always thought they had beautiful dragons and a lot of knowledge in their care sheet that I follow.

Awesome! We have a red/orange hypo/trans from them! Picked her up at an expo, happy to hear about their setup being so clean. She was a bit apprehensive of us at first but has calmed down to be a super sweet girl. Rebel is her name, I'll take a pic and post it this evening when I get home! :D

Super handsome lil guy you've got there, congrats!

We got our BD from Daichu as well. He's also named Spike. He's been a great dragon and believe it or not your little Spike will be many times his size in just a few short months. Good luck and great choice.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
