This is Naito. We do not know how old he is as we got him from a rescue. He is 9.5" long, but is missing part of his tail. He also only has a stump for a left arm.

We are still learning about him and it does not help that we do not know his past. We are trying to do right by him moving forward. Struggling to see if his Naito-isms are just because he is missing a leg or if there is something else going on.

We have called our local reptile vet and they suggested waiting a couple of weeks before bringing him in so we can write down our concerns.

He was kept in a small 10 gallon tank prior to us. We now have him in a 48x18x24 enclosure.

He is very lovable. He loves having the top of his head rubbed and he also enjoys being help on your chest. He has come to thourouhly enjoy being on a fleece blankie in his enclosure.

Thanks!

Hello he is a very handsome little guy, it's great that you rescued him and also it's good to wait a few weeks before bringing him to vet he has to get use to his new home and he will. Couple questions if you could explain what lights you are using? Also what kind of thermometer are you using/ temps in the tank. Feel free to ask any questions.

I am using the Reptisun 10.0 t5 (sitting on top) but only getting 90-93 degrees on his little grey rock. He does not seem eager to climb higher (although perhaps still not used to new enclosure)

For basking i have a 150W Exo Terra Intense Basking Spot on the left and an All living Things Neodymium 50W bulb on the right. That keeps the right side between 80-95.

I got rid of the dial thing that sticks to the wall and now have an IR gun to determine temp and a digital hygrometer.

Thanks!

Thats great you are doing really well with things it's good and I can tell you have done a lot of research the only thing I would suggest is getting that basking spot right around 100 at the least and even as high as 115, with the cool end at 80 tops I found out that my girl appreciates things a lot note when I have the proper gradient temps in her home.

Hi. What a cutie :D . I just wanted to say those Neodymium coated bulbs are not good for beardies as it bothers the eyes.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
