In the last two weeks we have made an addition to our family and he's a lovely little fella (maybe). His name is Bra'tac

I know the viv looks full but weve since cleared it out alot and made it very simple as we had no idea, please also ignore the sand we were stupid new parents and have since changed this for a better substrate.

Here's our big fella that until he was about 3 I had thought to be a girl, I named him Kari but as he is such a woos the name stuck and he gets to keep it, besides I think it suits him.

We hope to learn many things from you guys and in turn when we know enough give back when other new parents come to the site

Hi there, and yeah we were a bit stupid with that we thought they are desert creatures and sand is natural and all that, the guy at the pet store (selling it) said it was ok, but since reading as much as we could -without stressing ourselves too much- on this site we took it out. But then again the pet store I got Kari from wasn't fantastic at giving right information, however the internet wasn't as great a source material for new parents 7 years ago as it is now and I don't have to spend as much time figuring out how to correctly care for Bra'tac properly unlike Kari. The internet is a fantastic thing for pets nowadays.
