Ive had my beardie for a couple of years now (adopted him as am adult). Was recently wondering why the skin around his eyes and near his ears turns yellow and orange sometimes. I always thought it was when he was happy or soaking up the sun as it seemed to always happen when I took him outside or when he looked really content. He has no coloration otherwise, just the usual brown and tan tones. Havent been able to find any info on this and was curious :)

It's natural coloring that varies from dragon to dragon. Cooper had orange around his eyes and Dundee had yellow around his ears. The colors would appear brighter at times depending on light and they would go lighter or darker depending on mood or if they were basking or not.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
