Hello all,
I am a little worried about Rex. I fed carrots to Rex for 2 consecutive days about 4 days ago. I noticed that he began to poop orange so I stopped and began feeding him only greens. However, Rex still poops orange and I am noticing that the poop is watery. so much so that today I thought he vomited because the poop was watery and very orange...it looked like vomit!!t. It was not until I examined the contents that i knew it was poop. He was pooping solid and dark green before I fed him carrots. I have to emphasize, however, that Rex has been eating very healthy eating all of his crickets. Just today he ate 20 of the little ones! IN ONE SITTING!!... he is 9 inches and I've had him for about a month. I'm not sure if he got sick from eating carrots. are carrots healthy for bearded dragons? Is there anything I can do so he can poop normal again? Is the orange coloration of the poop normal?
Pleases help.
On a brighter note, Rex grew almost 2 inches since we got him...yay!!!!
