Hey all,
I haven't been on in a while since my own baby is doing great. I was pampering my buddy's older beardy today and I came up with a couple of questions. I want to make a couple notes before I ask questions since I know they can help with the answers.
Her tank is cleaned less than frequently, her nails were long enough to curl, and her tank warm half temp runs around 80 degrees. So I have cleaned her all up and given my friend advice on taking care of her. She is around 9 years old. Btw I don't approve of her condition and have cracked the whip on taking care of her even if it means me doing it for myself.
So my questions are firstly it seems as if she has virtually no teeth ridges left. Is this normal for her age? Are there any special precautions that need to be taken to care for that?
Her lips seem to have sand permanently caked on them, I'm not even sure if its sand. Anyone have any thoughts on this? How it can be prevented?
Aside from cleaner surroundings and some bathing and preening are there any other tips I can impart to make her life as good as it can be.
Thank you for the responses I really appreciate any input.
