I have my female in a tank that measures 60"L x 18"W x 20"H and I want to breed her. From what I've read, everyone has a separate bin or container with soil/sand mix for her to lay her eggs in. Would it work if I put a small container (13"L x 8"W x 6"D) in the tank and cut one of the faces off (like the mark in the picture) and put my soil/sand in that? Its 6" Or should I just buy a separate container? Thanks for the help!!

Dragons like to tunnel, so it needs to be at least 8" deep. I've tried smaller lay bins but it ends up being a big mess. I also use sand because it packs down hard when it's wet and lets them dig deep, long tunnels without caving in. It is also cleaner and less messy, plus I think it's more sanitary period. Just go get a 50 to 60 quart bin and a 50lb bag of sand and you're set.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
