Open mouth, black(ish) beard?

Levi is acting somewhat out of the ordinary today. He's had his mouth open pretty often when basking, so I assume he's regulating temps. His rocks don't exceed 109, though I'm moving the light up some so it will be closer to 105. But even when he was on my couch and I was petting him he randomly just turned darker and opened his mouth. He obviously had no intention to bite me because I had my hand near his face because I was petting his head and beard like I do all the time. His beard seem to be like, 1/4 puffed. He didn't expand himself on the couch or anything, just made his beard ever so slightly bigger, and black. But after this I put him on my shoulder and pet him and he went to sleep no problems, still was very dark in color everywhere.

He's about a year and a half old
Basking temps 100-109 in warmest spots, but he usually stays on the edges where's it closer to 98.
Cool side that goes down to ~74
Temps stay ~74 at night
Reptisun 10.0 T8 that's roughly 8-9" away from basking spot, currently working on getting it closer.

He hasn't had crickets for a day or two because I thought my Phoenix Worms would come today. They should be here tomorrow or Thursday, I intend to get some crix if they aren't here by 4-5 tomorrow. He has eaten some of his salad and I hand fed him some fruits. Salad currently is a pretty large salad containing; Mustard Greens, Carrots (Shredded and broken into small pieces), Blueberries (smaller ones, not cut up since they're smaller than between his eyes), and small cut up grapes.

Those are all the pictures I took of him. He did this as soon as I walked in next to his cage too. Is he maybe getting stressed or something? I don't see any visible black/darker areas in his mouth and I don't hear him breathing (I can just see it), so I don't suspect an RI (humidity is 35-40% usually).

Any other info needed just let me know, I will be more than happy to supply anything else.

His basking light is moved up, I'm giving the temps time to adjust and I will go from there. Looking to get closer to 105, as I read that it's much better for adults to have 100-105. When I went in there 5-10 minutes ago, his mouth was still open.

Also, he pooped today and it seems more black than normal. Still had a nice size (about 1/4-1/3 size of the stool) white sack on it though. (Forgot the more technical term for it). I think it's because his diet is slightly off from normal due to lack crickets and eating more salads (Crix will resume tomorrow if worms aren't here). Any ideas?

This picture was taken a little earlier today, and it genuinely worries me. He perked up and ate 20-30 phoenix worms (large) but still. This can't be normal. He also seems more skiddish, which combined with his scales looking a little more dull/grey made me think maybe he's shedding? But If so it's been a really really slow shed and nothing has actually shed yet. Just turned more dull/grey.

How are you taking the temps. ? He looks like he may be a bit too hot. Keep it about 105 at the most, keep in mind that the rocks hold more heat. You also might offer extra hydration by dripping water on his mouth via syringe or small spray bottle [ gentle direct stream, very lightly ] You should get him a basking log, too ....beardies love to climb. Find a thick branch or small log outside [ nothing pine or sappy], pop it in a 250 degree preheated oven for 60-90 minutes to kill any potential pests . Then raise your uvb bulb back up, it's a bit too close anyway. Also, if you haven't had him tested, get a fecal test done to check for parasites.

The temps are with a temp gun (http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=24294&cmpid=07cseYY&gclid=CPrK5smvsMwCFYsCaQodMB4LVA)
He doesn't much like the water in his face, but i still try and drip it often. I sprayed him to let him cool off. I have found a log, I just need to cut them in half and find some really thick longer ones for climbing. His UVB is 9" from the bottom of the tank, but I didn't really think about it very well because the rocks are raised and then he is even higher. So I will definitely back it up a little bit. His temps don't get much over 105. I think the highest they get are like ~108. But I'm adjusting the lamp to fix that issue.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
