I apologize if this has been covered, but I searched and did not turn anything up.
I am a member of several forums and all of the others will allow the browser to open activated links in a new window, or as a new tab is your machine if so set.
Here, clicking on a link takes me away from this site to the link destination.
This is not an issue as far as malfunctions, but I am so used to just closing windows I had been linked out to, vs using the "back" button to find my way back here, that I am constantly closing both the link and, without intending to, I also close the browser on this site. My finger is finished before I realize I've done it again...
Once I have inadvertently done this, I have to restart my browser, return to the site, log back and find my place.
I am getting better, but but I'd bet anyone admin can look at my login history and see that I have a hard time staying attached, LOL
Is there something I can do to change this, such as a setting someplace in the user CP, to open a new window/tab when one clicks on a link?
Thank you,
Ed
