only tame around me

When it just ne and my dragon he never tries butting or puffing up at me I let him runarounmy room and he never puffs when I try to pick him upp off the floor but when I sat him on the floor and other people are in the room no matter how far they are when I walk up to him he puffs up flattens his body and turns sideways. Why is that. Can he remember my face and is only tame when its just me

May just only like you or he hasn't been socialized enough. Is there people he has to be around? If so you should ask them to get an old shirt and put it in his tank so he can get used to the smell and try socializing him more with people he will be around a lot.

Sorry I just realized I had a couple errors in my first post but. No I'm the only one who takes care of him and handle him but my little cousin is over with my little sister and they were watching tv and I sat him on the floor to walk around the house (he usually walks around my room) and I walked up to him and he instantly start showing those get the f*** away from me signs haha. But when I put some dried mealworms infront of him he calmed down. Ha. But I keep his cage in my room and not where a lot of people can see him because I'm seriously over protective and people don't know how to correctly handle lizard and sense there bearded dragon ribs are so fragile I'm scared they would just grab him by the side and break a bone

Hes just not used to other people then. Get him socialized. The only way their going to know who to pick him and and for him to get used to them is to teach and show and let them pick him up. I know its hard for a mama bear but then when you leave for a vacation or something there are 2 people who can care for him and your beardie is more comfortable with other people.
