I just wanted to start a discussion about online retailers. Tell me about your favorite places to order beardie related products and why. Also comment if you've had a not-so-pleasant online experience with someone. These can be experiences with breeders, feeder stores, and miscellaneous beardie supplies like terrarium decor. Be mindful of forum rules:

Posts of this nature should:
- Reflect one's direct experiences (no hearsay, or repeating what you've been told by others)
- Stick to the simple facts (posts that cross over into overly inflammatory views risk having those posts removed)
- Focus on providing the information the OP asked for
- Don't spend time trying to refute or argue validity of other people's experiences
- Don't turn someone's request for feedback into a big argument about your own experiences

I haven't done too much online shopping for accessories or dragons. But as far as feeders, I have had good experiences with both Phoenix worms and Reptiworms. I haven't had any issues so I can not speak to how their customer service is.

So far ordered my dragon from Rainbow Bearded Dragons and ordered 1k crickets from Ghann's Cricket farm and both were great. Gonna be giving Phoenixworms.com and Buydubiaroaches.com soon.

Linda's Gone Buggy is a great website to order feeders from. I've purchased the variety packs, some superworms, and lots of worm food from them. They package their feeders amazingly well and are prompt in emails. Highly recommend!

As far as feeders, bugorder.com, I have found so far is a great company, every order so far as been great for alive rates (most I have ever had was 30!), only complaint I would have to say is Canadian post for my area sucks at delivering it on time and right date. Any complaints or questions are returned promptly and quickly, and do front work instead of having to go through a lengthy process to get what you want.

I just received an order from Reptiworms today! The product seems to be good. Parthy pigged out on them. However, they ship USPS so the worms were in my hot mailbox for an hour. I need to find someone who ships UPS or FedEx so the worms will be delivered to the door.

Flucker Farms is good. Orders ship same day. Still waiting for 2-3 business days for them to respond to my email to customer service.

I like same day shipping. Let us know if the customer service gets ahold of you and how helpful they are.

How did you like dealing with Rainbow BD? What made you purchase from them?

Awesome! How is their shipping time?

Not Canadian here, but I don't want to ignore your post! I love great customer service and don't mind paying a little extra for it.

Rainbow Bearded Dragon was great. Tamara always answered my emails pre and post purchase of my little orange hypo het trans girl. She even called me to give me tips to do to make her relocation stress a little easier. And I bugged her a lot with questions haha. I ordered from them mostly because im up here in Washington State and I wanted a semi local breeder and Oregon was the closest. I looked at Bloodbank Dragons and The Dragonz Den as well and pretty much loved the color offerings Rainbow Bearded Dragons had. I personally prefer reptiles shipped in snake bags but her shipping method worked and the baby was calm when I opened the box. Of course now for my Red Tail boa, no snake bag on shipment could end bad if you open that up and "surprise". But overall very pleased with Rainbow Bearded Dragon. Now only if she bred some citrus BDs, I could get a little buddy for Harley

That's great, Sauzo! I've looked at their website and they seem to have some really gorgeous dragons. I'm looking into getting a citrus myself, though. :)

I use to think Flucker's Farm was good until my last order of 1000 arrived with at least 48% dead. Contacting them was beyond frustrating. On chat she asked reship or refund? I said refund she said "ok" then left chat without saying another word. So for another 30 minutes I'm asking how much and when with no response. 10 days later I got $3 refunded to my credit card on a $38 order. I will never purchase from them again. The say they guarantee live delivery but if the arrive dead you have to pay for them to reship.

Flucker Farm has rude customer service and based on last order unhealthy crickets. The ones that arrived alive all died within a week. Bought next batch from local pet store and my beardie's behavior became much more active after feeding on healthy local crickets rather than being lathargic on Flucker ones.

Can't stress enough how much I love Zoo Med. A single email to them gets help even on equipment bought used.

They have sent me lab reports on reptisun 10.0 when I asked about how much the screen filters.

They sent me the hanging hook for a dual dome fixture that came with dragon and was missing hook.

I bought 36" hood from Amazon and it has a loose connection. So you have to wiggle bulb sometimes to get it to come on. Stupid me i set heat lamp on top it and melted/warped part of hoo. d so couldn't send it back to Amazon. Zoo Med asked for copy of reciept then express shipped me a new one at no cost.

LOVE LOVE LOVE them

I learned they don't respond to email unless you use help@fl... even then it is iffy. That woman is less than polite and when you do get to talk with her she's like oh Yeah I got your message but no explanation why she didn't respond.

No return email from them. Went back to the contact form and I don't see the 2-3 business day disclaimer so maybe I have to wait a bit longer.

That's disappointing about flukers. I hear they have other good products, and I have two that I love, but that kind of customer service would upset me.

skateanddonate, thanks for the wonderful info on Zoomed! I have a few products from them, and I'm glad to know they were so helpful.

In other online experiences, I ordered an Arcadia light and fixture with reflectors from lightyourreptiles. Ordered it Monday afternoon, shipped Wednesday, and arrived Friday. Packaging was great, light was already installed, and it came with 2 free pens. My only complaint is they came with two options for mounting hooks, but I got 3 of one and 1 of the other. I had to find another way to mount the light, because I needed the second option!

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
