One of my vivarium set ups, what do you all think ?

I have the T8 Arcadia 10.0+ on top of the mesh, it has a reflector as you can see. Its about 5-6 inches away from my bearded dragon. Would it better inside the viv?
I was a bit worried if i put in the viv, that is would be too close to him and hurt his eyes?
The mesh is not too tight.
What do you all think?

At that distance, it's probably OK. If you mount it inside the tank it will provide a higher level of UVB but I wouldn't mount it closer than 6'' from the highest basking spot because it can get pretty intense in terms of both visual output and UVB output at close range.

Thanks. Yes, that is what i thought. As you can see, you can just see my bearded dragons head on the left of the pic. Prehaps it is safer where it is.
