One eye open while napping?

Hello, I have had my bearded dragon for almost a week now and everything is going very well. She is satisfied with her environment and she is eating a few super worms and mostly dubia roaches daily. I leave salad with little amounts of banana and some carrots in it along with some moistened juvenile bearded dragon food by Zoo Med which she has never even tried to eat in front of me. Her name is Mary Jane *wink wonk*, although I actually do not know the real gender at this point. Currently resting in her basking spot after some insect eating, I notice that she is opening one eye every once in a while as if she is checking her surroundings for safety. I just wanted to check with the beardie experts to see if this was normal and that nothing is wrong.

Hi. How old is she? What kind of uvb light are you using? What kind of basking light do you use?
