One 55 and one 75 gallon

I have 2 males that I rescued one that is injured is half the size of the other one. The smaller one has swollen joints and has a hard time climbing. I moved him into the 75 so he has more floor space to run around and not have climb except to get to his heat lamp spot and it is an easy climb. I put the other one in the 55 and have plenty for him to climb on and as well as his hide and water dish. Is this a better choice or should I switch tanks?

Does any one think one way or another on this? Just trying to make sure I am doing the best.

well if its a 55 tall that to small for an adult. but i would say you got it down with putting the one that cant climb well in the 75
