Is Noodle something I can put in a bowl and laugh at? No she is just a sweet bearded dragon that I instantly have fallen in love with. MY story of how I got to Noodle is a long one but I'll try to make it short just for pictures! Anyway most of you know how I first got introduced in to beardies. And for those who don't I'll tell you my happy tale, so sit around my campfire kids and roast some marshmallows its Story Time!

I first encountered bearded dragons when I went to my first Repticon back in 2006 with my step dad, my friend's dad, my friend, and me. While I was there looking at all the cool animals I noticed upon a type of lizard. What got me about this lizard was it had SPIKES!. I was instantly confused, Are the spikes pokey and do they hurt? Are they more for show than dangerous? Are they both for show and dangerous? I just kept looking at the lizard in utter aw. Well it was time to go and before we left I found out the name of the lizard was a bearded dragon. And after that all I did for years was look on the computer at them, watch videos of them, read books about them, and dreamed about them! Anyway fast forward to today and I finally have a place I can call home for my future bearded dragon and myself for now.

Now here is the story about how Noodle came to become mine. After knowing for sometime that I was going to move to my mom's house. I started talking her into a bearded dragon. At first she kept saying NO! but with much persistent I budged her a little to say that she will think about it. Well one day I was browsing the For Free section of this forum for fun like I normally do. And I saw a post where a lady, Michele, was looking for a good home for her 2 year old baby, Noodle. I instantly posted because she said she was located in Atlanta and with me moving to Woodstock she was only a 30 minute drive. Me and her started transferring emails about Noodle. Michele told me all about Noodle and I knew I wanted her. We talked on the phone and decided that the 13 of April I could come visit Noodle. (Wish I got pictures of my visit but my phone was dead :( ) Anyway I told her about my situation of moving because school was almost over for me and about me moving campuses. She told me that if I was really serious into taking Noodle she would give me her entire setup and hold Noodle until May when I decide a good date after I move to come and get her. My mom was surprised about her giving me Noodle's setup because I'm not gonna lie I was too she told me they spend $200 on her tank and all she wanted was for Noodle to go to a good home so she was willing to give me everything.

Well thats my and Noodle's story. IT has only began but we have a huge journey ahead of us. For now Pictures!

Hey guys how is everyone doing. Its been going good here. I got another job at a warehouse with my stepdad since I'm not going to school this semester. It snowed today and its so awful because I left work at around 11 and got home at 12:30 with over 30-40 accidents Georgia never knows what to do with snow we might seem like we're prepared but we're not. My mom has left her office at around 4 and it is 9:30 now and she has probably moved 3-4 miles from her office because her boss sucks. Anyway I took Ridley outside for 5 minutes to see the snow she had no clue what to do or what it was. So how is everyone else doing.

It's the same where we live. We get snow so rarely that when we do get a couple of inches, a lot of places close schools, but then we don't have any snow plows, it's a waste of money for us.

We're the same, get an inch of slow and everything shuts out and accidents galore. That's why I'm lucky that I can take public transport to work back & forth & let them worry about it
Ridley looks wonderful, Matt, but not very pleased about the snow  Mine won't even go out beyond the balcony, they're just chickens. They're all doing well, though. Gabriel and Didi are in love with my new dragon Puff. It's so funny to watch the interactions
So you decided to take a break from school? Probably do you good to not have that stress on you & just work & make some $. Glad you found a good job. Did you get another car?

Same here, no-one knows what to do in snow out here, get an inch or two and it shuts the city down. We had 2 snowfalls in early December, what a mess! But now we're back to rainy, foggy and wet. That's our typical winter.
Everyone is doing well. Gabriel and Didi are in love with Puff, it's fun to watch their interactions. Lonzo has slowed down, I'll see how he is in the spring. He's getting old, he'll be 11 yrs old in April. Rubio can't decide if he wants to bromate, so he's up & down, but mostly up. Didi has had a couple of weeks sleep, he's back up now. Leo is in full brumation, haven't seen him for awhile, he's buried under his basking ramp, he ripped a piece of newspaper to cover his face & I have the rest of him covered with a blanket. He's in my room now & seems to enjoy it.

I'm so looking forward to spring, want my boys up & full of energy again!

Did you get another car? Or did you fix your old one? Glad you're taking a break and working, get some $ put aside. Are you going to continue school?

Ridley looks great in those pictures, just not overwhelmed about the snow

No I sold my old car for scrap metal and am working this other job and saving money towards another car. So Ridley decided to poop all over herself and her cage. So I spent 20 mins cleaning her up. I'm not sure if I got it all from her underbelly because I can't tell if her spots are part of her design or actual poop/dirt spots. Can you guys tell I'll post some pictures down below.

They look like discoloured scales, don't think there's any poop there. She sure has a nice belly! Mine get those, too, they come off when they shed, so I don't see anything to worry about :D

Yes, it looks normal to me, also. It looks like you got all the poop off of her.
She's looking great! The pics of her on your hand in the snow (a couple of posts earlier) was it really cold then? or, like Southern AZ just our version of cold (+/- 40 or 50)? If it was too cold outside and you kept her out for too long of a time, she might have gotten to cold for too long.

Ok that's good she has such a pretty underbelly and I never realized till a few days ago how big it has gotten. Also it was maybe 33-35 degrees outside but she was only outside for maybe 5-10 minutes I didn't keep her outside for too long just long enough to take the pictures

Ridley looks great. How's everything going for you? Sorry to hear about your car. That's a total bummer. Cars suck. Paul's car is in need of replacing and he just bought it used two years ago. He bought it very well used. I talked him into it and wished I hadn't. No ac. The heat sucks - takes forever to start. It's a two door so unless you can open the doors up all the way, they hit you. The sunroof and two side windows leak. Hope your next car fairs better!

This is 2 eggs of 4 she decided to lay today.! WHAT DO I Do????????

Well a laybox is always a good idea, regular box with either wet play sand or non fertilized potting soil (hard to find this time of year). She has to have at least a foot deep as she'll dig a tunnel, then turn around & lay her eggs. If she's like Puff, though, she won't use a laybox and will lay her eggs in her tank or her bath. It's important that she get calcium every day, liquid is best, on top of regular calcium on her bugs/salads (if she's eating) and bath every day, as she needs the hydration. If I can think of anything else I'll let you know.

Thanks Deb I did give her calcium today along with a bath because she did poop on herself and she laid another on the bathroom counter as i was dumping her water out. With a lay box do I need to have a lamp above her like her tank or would she be fine. Also how long does she need to stay in the box for. She also did eat some greens and a few worms.

So I just came into my room to head to bed because I have to work twice tomorrow. Once for the warehouse and then at 6 pm for Kroger. Well I guess in between her lights going out and her going to sleep she decided to lay another egg on her hammock. So she is up to 7 now. How many can they lay all together because I'm hoping she is almost done. I feel like since I won't be home till around 11:30 pm tomorrow night I'm going to come home to a lot of eggs  :puke:

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
