In his bath that is

When I first got him he didn't like his baths AT ALL. Now he sits and enjoys his bath like a good little boy! I've even gotten him to poop in his baths twice in a row... Hopefully he continues this! I love it when they poop in the bath lol such easy clean up  Overall he is settling into his new home REALLY well!! He's pounding back about 30-50 crickets a day (even if I have to hand feed him some...). He's still getting used to being fed in a feeding tub but he's slowly getting the hint.

Anyway, here are some pics I took of him this morning when he was taking his bath, I was just too pleased that he pooped in it after a few moments of being placed in the water... Haha only beardie slaves would be excited about poop in a bath....

You can see that he's starting to go through his shed starting at his nose. His back legs are already pretty grey, his tail shed the day after I brought him home.

I can't wait until he sheds his whole body so I can see some pretty colours!!! He's really yellow as it is, but I'm hoping that he keeps getting yellow and bright as he matures :D

Thanks for looking!!

Haha I think I got kinda lucky. Well one day he didn't poop at all so the next morning the first thing I did when I woke up was put him in a nice warm bath and I massaged his belly and wasn't going to let him out the bath until he pooped! I make sure to keep the water nice and warm by adding some hot water very carefully to the colder bath water. Before that though, when I was trying to train him to go in his bath, I'd given him multiple baths during the day and massaging his belly (massaging is key!) until he went. Just keep at it and eventually your dragon will learn haha you just need patience

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
