Old tree branch and rocks for decor?

Can i use a tree branch from a tree as decor? I am sort of worried about parasites getting to my beardie. if i can would i need to sterilize it with something like bleach?
Secondly, i am thinking about using some real rocks to build a basking platform. what could i use/is safe to use to glue them together?

hi for the branch put it in your oven at 200 for an hour, don't worry it will not catch on fire. You can use silicone from Lowes/ Home Depot for the roacks just let it air dry for a few days. wash the rocks well can bake them too

I recomend rinsing/washing them in a 20-80 vinegar/water solution then baking them in the oven as previously stated,same with the rocks!best of luck,i'm doing the same thing with a branch and 2 large rocks for my beardie
