If I was out of hand, I'd have heard from a moderator by now. I asked for a source, that's IT. What is your problem? Now I feel attacked for starting a healthy debate. I disagree with you, why are you so upset about that? I have not called you names or insulted you. I merely pointed out there is nothing to verify your claim and others are coming out of the woodwork to talk about this with me as well. I had a healthy debate with someone else who couldn't answer the question either and asked me to share anything I come across so they could improve their knowledge as well. I am here seeking an answer to a question, that is my right on this board. If you have such a problem, report me so I can hash it out with the moderators. I have done nothing wrong here and I'm not going to get banned.

There have been 2 abuse reports on this thread. It's fine to have a debate, we're all for that BUT there is no reason to belittle anyone or make fun of them if you feel they don't have proof of a certain statement. Acting that way is considered "rude behavior" and is actually breaking a site policy that can be read in detail here: viewtopic.php?f=48&t=65765#p500638 When a member joins this forum, they have to agree to follow the site policies before they can become a member so I suggest that all the site policies are read in detail.

Also, if you don't have something nice to say, please don't respond at all. There are nice ways to say things and sarcastic & rude ways to respond. Rude behavior is NOT allowed on this forum and will not be tolerated.

okay so this is the third time my alec has gotten parasites from crickets so i really want to get away from them. he currently eats phoenix worms and I'm starting him on supers (he's over a year old and I think he is over 16 inches long but he wont sit still for me to measure him) i also got some freeze died crickets that i plan to dust for his vitamins. he also gets greens and squash daily. is this a good diet for a one year old beardy? can freeze dried crickets have parasites?

From my experiences, I fed my dragon supers when she was about to hit 16" she had a bit of undigested worm in her poop. So I checked the temps and tried again at a later time. The next time after that there was no undigested parts and she did fine. Phoenix worms are great feeders. I gave them to Mateus when she was a little baby. I stopped feeding her those when she could have supers. I keep the freezedried crickets as an emergency because I have no idea what they were fed before they got dried. thanks i gave him a nice warm bath and he perk up. i might change his temps if theres undigested worms. but so far hes okay
