Okay or no?

So new owner of a bearded dragon and he does this thing where when I try putting him back in his cage at night he death grips my hand so that I can't set him down but when I take him to bed with me he crawls as close as he can to me and falls asleep and then I have to carry him to bed. His cage is fine, he's okay with being in it during the day to eat and bask but when it comes to bed time he wants to stay with me. Is it okay for him to stay in bed with me all night? I've always slept with small animals so I never move at night but I've never slept with my reptiles.

The gripping tightly is normal. They like to feel secure.

I wouldn't sleep in the bed with your beardie because:

1. You could cause injuries.
2. Beardie may not get back in their viv for lights on.
3. Beardie needs to feel secure in their viv. Sleeping there will help with this.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
