It's been a while since I've been on here, but I'm at my wit's end and I can't do this anymore, lol.

Since the last time I posted, don't remember when that was... could look it up, bit lazy after a long day of work, but since the last time I posted, I've been feeding Itchy, my ~7ish year old beardie baby food through a syringe since I cannot, repeat CANNOT, get him to eat any veggies. He has been diagnosed with MBD in the past, and it's been getting better but the less time I have to sit and feed him 3 mLs at a time of baby food, the less calcium he gets, the stiffer his back legs get!

I need to get him back on eating solid vegetables, and I have no idea how to do this anymore. I just, like I said, am at my wit's end - working full time at an emotionally/mentally/physically draining job, moving in 6 days, getting a puppy soon, have 2 cats already, have type 1 diabetes soon to be on an insulin pump... syringe-feeding a reptile is just not in the cards anymore!

Any tips/suggestions?

Tips/suggestions would be to fix the cause of the lack of appetite, instead of trying to live with the lack of appetite.

Can you go over your husbandry with us? The more details, the better.

Lighting and temperature have a HUGE effect on everything about a dragon, including the appetite.

It's not lack of appetite, he eats worms perfectly fine. He enjoys eating the baby food, as long as it's fed to him and brought to his mouth. He's just picky and went on a veggie strike when he was sick when I brought him to my apartment. I had him on the critical care formula and everything, and was feeding him the baby food then, so he got used to the syringe and now knows he can get me to feed him that way.

His husbandry - let's see.
Substrate - slate tiles. Lighting - ReptiSun 10.0 tube, about 2 months old, another one on order right now, just in case. Heating - temps at basking spot range from 95 to 100. Hot side, around 85-90. Cooler side is 75-80.
He eats crickets and superworms. I don't know what else you want to know really. It's been a while since I've been on the forums.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
