ok, so me and my husband are having a debate, after owning our baby beardie for a year we still have yet to come up with a name. We have just figured out it is a girl and have narrowed it down to two names. I bought her as a "blood red" though I am wondering if she really is one as she is just starting to get color on her in the last couple of months.
Husbands favorite name: "Kramisha" she is a red fledgeling in the house of night series. My nieces were staying over for a week and we started reading them and now I read them a chapter over the phone each night.
My favorite name: "Shaunee" she is also in the same book series and has the affinity for fire.
Also she is 11.5 inches tip of nose to tip of tail I bought a brand new uvb bulb when I got her and replaced it 5 month ago. she gets calcium rich veggies that she loves and goes outside when the weather is nice in a kiddie pool with no water in it for up to two hours while I am cleaning my yard up so I can keep an eye on her. This was her first bath in the big tub and it was funny I made sure that she had a way to get out of the water if it was too scary. Just wondering if she is too small. We are moving soon and she will be upgraded to a 33 gallon tank until I am finished building her crossfire enclosure. (I have 2 others to build right now that are ahead of her).
She is on paper towels and eats whatever I give her be it crickets, waxworms, veggies, fruit, or roaches. She will even eat pellets if it is the day before payday and I ran out of live insects, though they are an emergency only type food. She does poop regularly and the poop looks fine, but as this is my first baby I raised I am a little nervous.
here are some pictures as I had broken my camera for awhile and had to get a new one:
