Ok laugh all you want but i need some advice !

I have a 3 yr old bearded dragon and she is blind as a bat. I am trying to figure out if there is anyway to get her to eat on her own. I have been spoon feeding her ever since i got her. Believe me i really do not mind but, lets be honest. Sometimes she gets agressive and tries to bite me. I took her out to let her play on the floor and immediatly she headed straight for my kitchen so i put my foot in front of her and let me tell you what she did !!! She bit my shoe and shook her head like a dog !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL !!! I told her that was not nice and tried to calm her but in the end i had to pick her up with a shirt and put her up. Now seriously, is there a way i could teach her to eat on her own? I am willing to try different things to help her along, but i can not move things around in her tank cause then she gets confused and falls.
If you can help me please let me know, and if you want to laugh at me cause one day she is gonna try to eat me then be my guest cause it cracks me up as well. :lol:

I have a blind gecko that hunts by sound and smell. I just offer her a small enclosure that she can easily find her roaches in.

Have you tried the same thing ? Perhaps a plastic shoe box. Oh, and if you aren't offering roaches, but crix instead, remove the back legs, and let her at em !

Yep or stick them in the freezer for a whole to slow them down.

It sounds like since your beardie is blind and that means it cant see you so when any animal cant see any thing they usually calm down a lot with humans but i agree with the poster that said to feed roaches in a small enclosure.
