ok. so i have a two year old male. he never ate alot (well what others say there beardie eats)
His temps are correct, tile floor, mvb when he was a baby to 8 months then it burned out and i replace with repti sun every so often.
He doesnt eat greens for anything. i tried the starve diet well he would starve.
He isnt eating much at all now but he could be brumating

I fed him crickets, greens when he was a baby to about a year and now he gets greens with dubias and an occasion super
he loves the supers but i dont think he digests them as well as the dubias.
anyways the only way he would eat hes greens is if i tweezer feed him the dubia wraped in a green leaf or whatever im tying to feed him for the day.

I was wondering what would be a different feeder i can use to mix in his greens that he might acutally eat his greens with.
I was thinking hornworms or phoenix worms. which ones would be more cost effective and help round out his diet since he isnt eating much greens/veg at all!

ok but if i just choose one which one should it be as i cant afford to buy all three? I will also be feeding roaches too. so really these worms will be in the salad so hopefully my beardie would be more likely to try the salad

I would say pheonix. I just recently got away from crickets and started feeding worms. I have yet to find a site selling silk worms close to me. I hear they die too easily and need some taking care of. I never got hornworms but you can only buy them in pods? That sounds like work plus they seem to be big. pheonix worms come in a nice small black container I just place on a shelf near the cage. Requires no care or anything. The container will last a good two weeks if it sits. They are rich in calcium too so u dont need to dust the greens which drys them out. So I would say pheonix or try super worms. They are bigger and move around alot which stimulates my guy. The pheonix are small and might get lost in the salad.

yay, i recieved my oder from carolina pet supply.
my beardie likes the phoenix worms. most of them are black though, so does that mean that they are going to turn into beetles? I can dust them with the TNT i got for my russians. so at least he is getting some type of food other then insects. next im going to lure him to the salad with the phenix worms

Yes feed the black ones first. You will notice they are harder then the other ones and dont really move much.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
