This is my babeh boy, Ogo. He's a lady dragon killer and has been my new buddy for 4 months today. He was born on July 12th, which is the same day as my birthday!
Ogo's progress has been absolutely amazing, he's such a healthy active little guy. I introduced him to our dog Charlee very slowly and now they're buds at such a young age. It's been over 2 months since we've seen even 1 sign of a single stress mark forming. He's been eating his salads, and loves to munch and hunt about 60 1/2" crickets a feeding. Sometimes he'll even eat 10 medium phoenix worms after. I started Ogo out hand feeding him EVERYTHING from crickets to veggies, and even drops of water off the tip of my finger which he loved to try and drink the droplets from.
Maybe a few tips for anyone starting out with a new dragon. I've never had the oppurtunity to own a dragon before this and at a young age I didn't feel responsible enough, I'm so so SO stoked to have finally bought one at 21.
So here he is. Each photo was taken in the same corner of his enclosure from approximately the same angle and distance to show the exact change. You'll notice his colours changing, his beard and spikes coming in well, and even his dark 'tiger' stripes in the last photo are coming in under his shedding. His eyes are getting brighter everyday and more alert. His limbs are getting thick and strong.
Photo 1 was taken a few days after hatching. Photo 2 was taken 4 weeks ago. Photo 3 was taken 2 days ago. Ogo is about 11 inches today.
I'd say he's a healthy boy, no?
Happy 1/3 birthday bruv.
